William Neilson, having led a management buyout in 2004, is Chairman of Talentmark, the international specialist life science recruitment company, founded over 35 years ago. A registered medical practitioner he qualified in medicine at the Westminster Hospital London after a BSc in biochemistry at University College London. Master of Public Health and a Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine, he practised medicine in the UK and South Africa before entering the pharmaceutical industry.

William worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 20 years based in Hong Kong, Switzerland, Paris, Copenhagen & the USA, with Pfizer and Dow Chemical and also the smaller international businesses of Jouvenial & Ferring.

Latterly in London he has been director of several pharmaceutical service companies and consults on drug development, pharmaceutical organizations and new biotech companies.

William is a Partner in 33 St. James's covering the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical areas of life sciences internationally, primarily in Europe and Asia.
