B. Michael Lehmann is the Managing Director of Michael Lehmann GmbH established in Frankfurt in 1993. Michael has over 25 years experience recruiting senior Executives in Financial Services, Information Technology and Industry for positions based in Western Europe, predominately Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Additionally since 1990 he has provided succession planning advisory services for a range of clients in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. He was previously a Board Member and Head of Germany for Carre Orban & Partners, a leading European search firm based in Brussels, and Head of the German office for Russell Reynolds Inc., a New York headquartered company, in Frankfurt for over 6 years. Prior to this he was the West Coast Managing Director of the German Industry and Trade Office in Los Angeles for 6 years and Head of Asia for the German Agricultural Marketing Board (CMA) in Tokyo for 7 years.
Michael studied at the Technical University in Munich and the University of Bonn. He has a degree in Engineering and speaks fluent German, English and Japanese.
